I’ve been fascinated by parent-child relationships for over 15 years and this has led me down the path of being a Holistic Sleep Coach.
I dedicate my time to supporting parents with their children - starting with birth preparation for parents, to working with children up to the age of 5. I’m a mum of two young teenagers, and know only too well how emotional sleepless nights are and how challenging it is to make decisions when you are that exhausted. Not to mention the huge strain tiredness can have on your relationships. I also know how it feels to be able to help my children to settle calmly into sleep and for the whole family to wake fully rested the next day. |
I studied Biological Sciences and worked observing wild primate behaviour where I became interested in the parent-infant relationship. In 2011 I decided to embark on a new venture and completed a foundation degree in Parenting Education accredited by the University of Bedford. Since qualifying I have dedicated my time to new parents and have taught and supported thousands of people. To further support parents I later specialised in Holistic sleep coaching (OCN level 6), helping families with children up to 5 years old, completed the BabyBrains® trainer course and trained with the Brazelton Centre UK, the world leaders in newborn behaviour research and clinical work. |
What separates me from others is that I always support families on their unique path - it is only a problem, if it's a problem for you!
I believe it is important for parents to understand about normal infant sleep and the factors affecting sleep. I also believe that with increased knowledge, you will be able to adapt the tools developed during our time together for your child's changing needs over time. I never use cry-it-out or any other technique that leave children crying on their own. Responsive, warm, resilient parenting is the core of my work. All my work is based on my gentle, age-appropriate and responsive style of support, so you can rest assured it is truly gentle to your child. |
